You might not have noticed it when you used your card at a Walgills grocery store.
But the company is taking a hard look at the problem.
“We know the community is really important to us, and that’s one of the things that we’re working on is making sure that we understand the community that we serve, and the ways in which we’re connecting with them, and making sure we’re making it easy for them to use our service,” said Jeff Johnson, a Walgreen spokesperson.
“As we’re getting older, it’s very important to understand what’s going on in their lives, and how they’re living in the digital age.”
And that’s something Walgens is hoping to address with a new app called Walgalls Community.
Walgarts Community allows users to log in to the app to see how well their local community is doing.
The app has some great data on the community’s health and happiness, and it also has statistics on how many people are using their card to shop online.
But it also highlights some of the big problems.
“There’s a lot of people who have been using the app for years and years, and they’ve just started to feel like they’re struggling with the new realities of the digital economy,” said Johnson.
Wal-Mart has also been working on a solution to this problem.
According to Johnson, the retailer recently introduced a new card that is much more targeted at millennials.
It’s also designed to work with new and existing Walgards locations.
Walgreen says the app is currently in beta, and Walgains Community will be launched in the coming weeks.
It has also announced partnerships with Walmart, Starbucks and other retailers to make it even easier for customers to shop.
“It’s really about building a community that is connected to the Walgreen brand, and a community with a great sense of community,” Johnson said.
“And that’s really important.”
