The Texas A & M Commerce Department announced Thursday it will create a botanical garden in Gorillablog.
The facility, which is being called the Gorillabase, will include the world’s largest botanical collection, with more than 8,500 species, including some of the worlds rarest species.
The garden will house an aquarium, botanical gardens, a science classroom, and a botanic garden exhibit.
The aquarium is the largest and the only in the world that will house alligators, and will be home to a reptile exhibit and the world famous giant tortoise.
The science classroom will offer students hands-on experience with many of the rarest and most difficult species on Earth.
The facility will house a reptilian exhibit, a reptillian laboratory, a laboratory for the first time in Texas history, and the first of its kind in the U.S.
The gorilla commerce department will partner with the Gorilla Research Foundation, which specializes in gorilla evolution, to develop the gorilla habitat.
